Welcome to 11th and 12th Grade English Language Arts! I’m so excited to be on this journey with you and look forward to a year filled with meaningful reading, creative writing, and great conversations.

Originally from Oregon, I made the leap to North Dakota in 2019—and it’s been one of the best decisions I’ve ever made. I’ve worked in education for over 12 years and love being part of the incredible North Dakota school community.

When I’m not teaching, you can usually find me traveling with my husband, digging into a good board game (have you figured out my favorite yet? There’s a BIG clue hiding in the back of my classroom!), or caring for my growing collection of houseplants. I’m always happy to trade plant tips or get a cutting of something new!

I’m thrilled to be part of your high school experience and can’t wait to see all the growth, creativity, and learning this year brings.
