Each week students have a minimum of two assignments to complete. Yes, there will sometimes be more...

1. Article of the Week (AOW) - the article of the week is an article that students are given every Monday. They complete annotations and turn in by Wednesday. On Friday, students receive their AOW back, and complete an in-class assignment with the article, due the same day. 

2. ACT Vocabulary - students receive ACT vocabulary to practice each week. They receive their vocab on Tuesday and it is due on Thursday.  Coming soon! 

If your student makes the 'I don't have homework' statement...please ask if they have completed their English Vocab and AOW. 

9/10/26 - Juniors have started their book clubs. This first round will last through Fall Break. Groups met with their chosen books and divided the chapters over the six week period. Students have a weekly job task and a discussion day on Thursdays. Students are required to complete their job PRIOR to discussion day if they want to earn full points. Wednesday's are given as a work day for students in order for them to be successful. Students will need to utilize SSR time and work time to stay on track. Students may need to work outside of the classroom.
