In English 11, we will continue to develop our reading, writing, and vocabulary skills through studying fiction/non-fiction, poetry, drama, and more. Students will deepen their understanding of complex texts and develop a more sophisticated level of writing and speaking.

Crime & Consequence is a literature and media-based elective that examines crime, justice, and the stories we tell about them. Students will analyze true crime cases, investigate unsolved mysteries, explore criminal psychology, evaluate media coverage, and study how narrative shapes public perception. Through choice reading, research projects, digital storytelling, literary analysis, and argumentative writing, students will develop the skills needed to think critically, communicate effectively, and investigate complex issues from multiple perspectives.
