What is Honor Society?
Honor Society is a prestigious organization dedicated to recognition of its members' success and empowering members to achieve. Honor Society membership provides academic and professional recognition to high-achieving students and helps them establish a professional and social network of contacts.
Why should I join Honor Society?
Honor Society encourages academic achievement, but also provides opportunities for members to develop leadership skills, to positively change their communities, as well as to prepare for future endeavors. Along the way, members make valuable connections that can last a lifetime.
Is this the same as National Honor Society?
We have a Chapter membership with both the North Dakota Association of Honor Societies and National Honor Society. We have the same vision, expectations, and goals through each of these.
What do I have to do if I become a member?
A student who joins our chapter of ND Honor Society will be required to uphold the values of honor society through their grades, leadership, and character, and will also be tasked with independently designing and executing a community service project during their senior year.
How do I join?
In order to join, you have to receive an invitation from the faculty advisor. Any junior with a gpa of 3.60 or higher receives an application. The student then undergoes an application and interview process, during which a panel of advisors will vote on whether the student is selected for membership.
